What this service is

NoticeCalculator.co.uk is an online notice period calculator and resignation letter generator. It helps you work out your last working day and produces template documents based on the details you provide.

Not legal advice

This tool generates template letters based on your inputs. It is not a substitute for professional legal advice. If you are unsure about your employment rights, notice period, or any workplace dispute, you should consult a qualified employment lawyer or contact ACAS.

Products and pricing

We offer paid digital products as described on our main page. All prices are displayed in GBP at the point of purchase, are one-time payments, and are processed securely by Lemon Squeezy. The notice period calculator itself is free to use.

PDF documents generated in your browser from the details you provide. Documents are delivered instantly after payment — there is nothing to ship or wait for.

Cancellation and refunds

If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right to cancel your purchase under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

On top of that, we offer our 30-day money-back guarantee, refunded through our payment provider Lemon Squeezy: if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of buying. The 30-day guarantee is limited to one refund per customer. This limit applies only to our voluntary guarantee — it does not affect your statutory 14-day right to cancel.

How to ask for a refund: email contact@noticecalculator.co.uk with your order number. You don't need to give a reason or use a form — just email us. If you prefer, you can use the model cancellation form, but it isn't required.

Whether you cancel under your 14-day right or use our 30-day guarantee, we issue refunds within 14 days of your request, through Lemon Squeezy to the payment method you used. Card refunds can take a further 5–10 working days to appear on your statement.

Intellectual property

You own the documents you generate. They are yours to use however you wish. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them. We own the site, the calculator, and the underlying templates.

Limitation of liability

The documents generated by this tool are template-based and do not constitute legal advice. We are not liable for any losses arising from reliance on them. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, but if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
